Yongcheol Lee

Yongcheol Lee is an Associate Professor and holder of the Roland and Kay Toups Professorship at the Bert S. Turner Department of Construction Management, Louisiana State University (LSU). His roles include teaching and research in construction management with a focus on Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital technologies.

Research Interests:

• Interoperability and automated validation of BIM data
• Natural disaster risk assessment and post-disaster recovery
• Construction safety via automation
• Infrastructure maintenance using BIM and sensors
• Design computation for virtual design and construction
• Sustainable BIM-driven design and construction

Teaching: Teaches Construction Plan Reading and related courses.

Affiliations: Previously held roles at Autodesk, Georgia Tech’s Digital Building Laboratory, and Lotte Engineering & Construction.
