Claudio Benghi

Claudio Benghi is an Assistant Professor in the Architecture and Built Environment Department at Northumbria University. He holds a PhD in Engineering awarded in March 2004. His research focuses on Building Information Modeling (BIM), optimization algorithms, interoperability in construction technologies, and sustainability in construction. Key areas include geometric optimization of BIM models, collaborative workflows in construction projects, and development of interoperable BIM software tools like the xBIM Toolkit.
