Yong Li

Yong Li is a Research Fellow at CNRS affiliated with École Normale Supérieure de Lyon and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He holds affiliations with Cnam-CEET and the Social Dynamics Laboratory (University of Rouen). His research focuses on ethnic minorities' experiences, discrimination, Chinese migrations, and social stratification. He earned a Sociology doctorate from the University of Rouen in 2016 with a thesis on Chinese graduate integration in France.

Education: PhD in Sociology (2016, University of Rouen), Master's in Sociology (2006), and Bachelor's in Ethnology (2004).

Key research interests include migration patterns, racialization dynamics, transnational solidarity, and pandemic impacts on migrant communities. His work appears in journals like Critique Internationale and Les Cahiers de la LCD.

Major awards include the First Prize from the Observatory of Student Life (2006). He has co-authored over 30 publications and participated in international conferences addressing migration, racism, and education policy.
