Yonca Özkan serves as a Professor in the Department of English Language Teaching at the Faculty of Education, Cukurova University, Adana, Turkey, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in teacher education and second/foreign language teaching methodology.
Her research program centers on:
- Pre-service language teacher development frameworks
- Digital pedagogy integration in language instruction
- ELF (English as a Lingua Franca) applications in teacher training curricula
She has supervised 41 theses and maintains an extensive publication record with 147 Web of Science-indexed articles.
