Dr. Yolande E. Chan is the Dean and James McGill Professor at McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management. She previously served as Associate Dean of Research and held the E. Marie Shantz Chair at Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business. Her academic career spans roles in research leadership, including Associate Vice-Principal (Research) at Queen’s and directorships in innovation centers. Chan’s expertise lies in digital strategy, business-IT alignment, and knowledge-driven innovation. She holds a PhD from Western University’s Ivey Business School, an M.Phil. from Oxford (as a Rhodes Scholar), and degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT.
