Dr. Yohannes Messele is a Grant-Funded Researcher (A) at the School of Animal and Veterinary Science, Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology at the University of Adelaide. He holds a PhD in genomic characterisation of antimicrobial-resistant bacteria in beef cattle (2023), along with two MSc degrees in Advanced Life Sciences and Veterinary Epidemiology. His career spans roles from Ethiopia’s EIAR to postdoctoral research at ACARE and the University of Adelaide.
