Yogini Chokeepermal-Naidu is an Associate Professor in Adult Nursing at the School of Nursing, Allied and Public Health, Kingston University. She holds qualifications including a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Sciences and an MSc in Neurosciences. Her career spans over two decades in clinical practice and research across plastic surgery, neurology, pediatrics, and pharmaceutical research.
Her research focuses on non-motor symptoms of Parkinson's disease, leading to the development of the internationally recognized NMS Questionnaire and Scale (endorsed by NICE guidelines). She has received prestigious awards from the World Federation of Neurologist and Movement Disorder Society. Her current priorities include advancing teaching excellence in adult nursing and leadership in nursing education.
Prior roles include Lead Research Nurse at the Wellcome Trust and UCLH. She integrates clinical expertise with academic leadership, emphasizing both patient-centered care and evidence-based pedagogy.
