Yiyun Chen is an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Photography at Rochester Institute of Technology, where she teaches in the Photography and Related Media program. She holds an MFA in Photography and Related Media from RIT and a BA in Studio Art Photography from Cleveland State University.

Chen is a Cleveland-based artist known for her photographic works and photobooks exhibited internationally. Her art has been showcased at institutions such as Wausau MOCA, Zanesville Museum of Art, Ohio University, Indiana University Kokomo, and galleries in Hungary (PH21) and Italy (Loosen Art Gallery). Her works are part of permanent collections including Cleveland Art Association, GAR Foundation, Mandel Foundation, and academic institutions like Rochester Institute of Technology and Cleveland State University.
