Matt Haffner is an Associate Professor of Photography and Video at Kennesaw State University, Atlanta, Georgia. With an MFA from Temple University's Tyler School of Art and a BFA from the University of Akron, he combines extensive commercial, editorial, and fine art experience with academic expertise. His studio practice spans mixed-media installations, photography, and video, often exploring urban landscapes and mythological themes.

Haffner's research focuses on multilayered vision, integrating static and moving images through materials like salvaged street signs, rusted metal, and spray paint. His work bridges street art traditions with contemporary digital media, emphasizing the periphery of urban environments.
