Yinghao Pan

Yinghao Pan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He holds affiliations with the School of Data Science and specializes in developing statistical and machine learning methods for personalized medicine and survival analysis.

• Education: Ph.D. in Biostatistics (UNC Chapel Hill), M.S. in Biostatistics (Yale University), B.S. in Mathematics (Fudan University)

His research focuses on creating innovative methodologies to improve healthcare outcomes through personalized treatment rules, particularly for depression and diabetes management. Current work includes flexible semiparametric models and cost-effective sampling strategies.
