New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT)معرفی
Sundarraman Subramanian is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). His research focuses on survival analysis, censored data methodologies, semiparametric models, and regression analysis. He has contributed extensively to statistical inference techniques, particularly in handling complex censoring mechanisms and developing robust estimation methods. Subramanian has held a federal grant (2004-2008) from the National Cancer Institute for Efficient Estimation Methods for Censored Survival Data.
His work spans theoretical statistics, biostatistics, and applied mathematics, with over 37 peer-reviewed publications. Key research areas include confidence bands for survival functions, median regression under censored data, and hypothesis testing in censored two-sample models. He teaches advanced courses such as Survival Analysis, Statistical Inference, and Probability Theory at NJIT.
Subramanian’s methodologies have applications in biomedical research, including studies on gene expression patterns in aphids and statistical modeling of medical datasets. His contributions to semiparametric approaches and bootstrap techniques have advanced the field of censored data analysis.
