Ying Cao serves as Assistant Professor of Education at Drury University's School of Education & Child Development since 2018, concurrently holding the position of Director for the Innovation and Teaching Center. Her academic leadership spans multiple education programs including Elementary Education, Secondary Education, and Master in Education initiatives.
Her educational credentials include a B.S. from Beijing Normal University and Ph.D. from Tufts University School of Education. Dr. Cao's research focuses on innovation in teaching methodologies, educational technology integration, and child development frameworks within contemporary educational settings.
As Director of the Innovation and Teaching Center, she drives pedagogical advancement across Drury's education programs. Her work supports teacher certification pathways, student teaching practicums, and state-mandated educator preparation standards through the Center for Gifted Education partnerships.
