Yin Xiao is an Adjunct Professor at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in the School of Mech., Medical & Process Engineering, Department of Medical Engineering. He is also a Distinguished Professor at Griffith University and Honorary Professor at the University of Queensland. His research focuses on tissue engineering, biomaterials, and regenerative medicine, particularly in bone and stem cell applications. He established the Australia-China Centre for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine and has held notable fellowships including NHMRC Peter Doherty and Visiting Fellowships. With a PhD from the University of Queensland (2000), he has over two decades of experience in academic research and clinical practice. Key research areas include osteoarthritis treatment, biomaterials for bone regeneration, and the osteoimmune microenvironment.
