Flavia Medeiros Savi

Dr. Flavia Medeiros Savi is an NHMRC Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), affiliated with the School of Mech., Medical & Process Engineering and the Centre in Regenerative Medicine. Her work focuses on 3D-printed biomaterials for bone and soft tissue regeneration, leveraging advanced microscopy and analytical techniques. She holds a PhD from QUT and a Bachelor's in Biological Sciences from Universidade do Sul de Santa Catarina.

Research Interests: Dr. Savi specializes in scaffold-guided bone and soft tissue regeneration, particularly for complex defects like spinal fusion, breast reconstruction, and pelvic floor repair.
