Dr. Yifei Zhang is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at The University of Hong Kong Business School, where he also serves as the Deputy Programme Director and Admissions Tutor for the BEcon/BEcon & Fin programs. He is affiliated with the HKU Jockey Club Enterprise Sustainability Global Research Institute, reflecting his strong interest in sustainable business practices and ESG topics.

Dr. Zhang's research focuses on the Chinese Economy, Development Economics, Political Economy, Corporate Finance, and ESG topics. He has made significant contributions to understanding how environmental regulations affect wage inequality, how the Belt and Road Initiative impacts household finance, and how corporate governance structures influence environmental performance.
