Yifan Zhou is an Assistant Professor/Lecturer in Finance at the University of Leicester’s School of Business. He holds a PhD in Finance and specializes in research areas such as Fintech, AI applications in finance, corporate governance, and financial intermediations. His work has been recognized through prestigious awards including the British Accounting Review Best Paper in Finance and the British Accounting and Finance Association Prize. He has presented research at major conferences like the Bank of England Conference and FMA Annual Meeting.
Dr. Zhou secured the British Academy/Leverhulme Small Research Grants as Principal Investigator for a project on corporate governance. His research has been published in leading journals including the British Accounting Review, International Review of Financial Analysis, and Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting.
