Yifan Zhou is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Stony Brook University. He holds a PhD (2019) and B.E. (2014) in Electrical Engineering from Tsinghua University. His research focuses on AI-driven smart grids, quantum computing, and formal analysis of power systems, emphasizing resilience and renewable energy integration. He teaches courses on electromechanical energy converters, electric machinery, and AI-driven smart grids. He advises PhD students in power system dynamics and quantum computing applications.
