Lang Tong is the Irwin and Joan Jacobs Professor of Engineering at Cornell University's School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He earned his B.E. from Tsinghua University (1985) and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame (1991), with postdoctoral work at Stanford's Information Systems Laboratory.
