Cong Chen

Cong Chen is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Engineering at Dartmouth College and a Stanford Energy Fellow at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Her research focuses on advancing the global energy transition through optimization, economics, and machine learning, with emphasis on renewable energy integration, energy storage, and hydrogen in power systems. She holds a PhD from Cornell University (2024), an MS from Tsinghua University (2019), and a BE from Wuhan University (2017).

Research Interests: Her work bridges power systems engineering, optimization theory, and market economics. Key areas include distributed energy resource aggregation, pricing under uncertainties, energy storage integration, and hydrogen storage for grid resilience. She explores market mechanisms to incentivize renewable adoption and enhance grid flexibility.
