Peng Zhang is a tenured Full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering and a SUNY Empire Innovation Professor at Stony Brook University. He also holds affiliate professorships in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics & Statistics. His research focuses on cyber-physical grid resilience, including quantum-engineered grids, AI-enabled systems, and cybersecurity. He leads the Power Lab, developing technologies like software-defined grids and programmable microgrids.
