Yifan Zhong

Dr. Yifan Zhong is a Lecturer in the Department of Management and Organisations at the UWA Business School and a Fellow of the Centre for Business Data Analytics. He holds a PhD from Monash University (Australia) and a Master of International Business from the same institution, alongside a Bachelor of Finance from the Australian National University. His expertise spans energy transitions, sustainable practices, and the application of emerging technologies like LLMs and NLP in organizations. Dr. Zhong currently serves as an Associate Editor for Chinese Management Studies and on the editorial boards of Asia Pacific Journal of Management and Humanities & Social Science Communication (Nature Portfolio).

Research interests focus on the interplay between organizations and institutions, particularly in leveraging policy environments for global competition and environmental sustainability. He explores transformative effects of technologies on organizational structures and economic disparities, with recent projects addressing energy transitions and AI-driven innovation.
