Yian Yin is an Assistant Professor of Information Science at Cornell University. Previously, he was a researcher in residence at the Northwestern Institute on Complex Systems (NICO) and the Kellogg Center for Science of Science and Innovation (CSSI).
As a computational social scientist, Yin investigates how individual, social, and environmental factors influence scientific progress and innovation.
