Yi Wang is an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the Department of Management at ISEG School of Economics and Management (Universidade de Lisboa). She holds a PhD in Accounting from Durham University (UK), an MA in Accounting and Finance (Distinction & Dean's Honours List) from the University of Melbourne (Australia), and a BA in Accounting from Xiamen University (China).
Her research focuses on corporate reporting and corporate governance, particularly examining how managerial incentives influence the quality of corporate disclosures and their economic consequences. She teaches courses such as Financial Accounting, Financial and ESG Reporting, and Auditing at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Yi’s work contributes to understanding sustainable and transparent business practices, with notable publications addressing GRI Standards implementation and policy implications.
