Yi-Lung Mo, Ph.D., P.E., is a Moores Professor at the University of Houston in the College of Engineering, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. With a Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from the University of Hannover (1982), he has held academic and leadership roles, including Director of the Thomas T.C. Hsu Structural Research Laboratory (2003–2016) and Advisor to the National Center for Research on Earthquake Engineering (2003–2009, 2011–2016, 2019–Present).
