Dr. Yetaotao Qiu is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the Department of Accounting & Finance within the Asper School of Business at the University of Manitoba since 2023. She holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Concordia University (John Molson School of Business, Montreal, Canada) and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in the US. Previously, she served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Nottingham (China campus), where she taught advanced financial analysis and accounting analytics.
Research Focus: Her work examines interorganizational relationships and their impact on corporate decision-making, with emphasis on corporate governance, sustainability, and financial strategies. Key areas include strategic disclosures during IPOs, cross-border executive influence on sustainability, banking responses to operational failures, and supply chain economic interdependencies.
