Yen Dang

Dr. Yen Dang is a Professor of Pharmacy Practice and Administration and Director of Global Health at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) School of Pharmacy. She holds a PharmD from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and completed PGY1 and PGY2 residencies at Temple University. Her practice site is at Chesapeake Healthcare in Princess Anne and Pocomoke, MD.

Her research focuses on public and global health, including chronic disease prevention (e.g., 1422 Chronic Disease Prevention and Control), tobacco cessation in pregnancy (PATCH initiative), and health equity through the Healthiest Maryland Businesses program. She is certified as an immunization provider and serves on the Statewide Advisory Commission on Immunization.

As Director of Global Health, she oversees initiatives aligned with the School’s NIH-funded SEPA Project. She actively participates in the Maryland Pharmacists Association and Maryland Public Health Association.
