Associate Professor Yeejin Jang is a faculty member in the School of Banking and Finance at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) Business School. Recognized for her expertise in empirical corporate finance and international banking, she previously served as an Assistant Professor at Purdue University (2013–2018).

Dr. Jang’s work lies at the intersection of international corporate finance, multinational enterprises, and climate-related financial policy. Her research portfolio spans mergers & acquisitions, cross-border capital flows, global banking syndication, and the environmental footprints of multinational firms.

Across more than two dozen refereed articles, book chapters, and working papers, a clear thematic arc emerges: leveraging granular micro-data to understand how global firms finance themselves, undertake cross-border investments, and respond to macroeconomic and regulatory shocks. Recent pieces (2024–2025) examine pandemic-era disclosure choices, insolvency spillovers, and syndicated-loan market fragility, underscoring her commitment to timely policy-relevant questions.

Labs & Affiliations
Dr. Jang is affiliated with the Risk Institute and maintains active links with the GE Capital-Fisher National Center for the Middle Market. At UNSW, she teaches FINS 3616 International Finance (undergraduate) and FINS 5516 International Corporate Finance (master’s level).
