Yee-Fui Ng is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Law, Monash University, where she serves as Director (Higher Degree by Research). Her research focuses on strengthening political institutions, enhancing executive accountability, and regulating actors in the shadows of government such as ministerial advisers and lobby groups. Utilizing empirical, doctrinal, and comparative methodologies, she has published extensively in leading journals like the Law Quarterly Review and Public Law.
Yee-Fui is a 2021-22 Fulbright Scholar and has received numerous accolades, including the Monash Vice-Chancellor’s Award for Research Excellence (HASS). Her work has influenced the High Court, federal government, and Parliament, and she has contributed to policy reforms in political lobbying, automation, and the Privacy Act 1988. She has secured over $560,500 in research funding from governments and international organizations.
