Yean Ju Lee is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology at the University of Hawaii. Their research focuses on family dynamics, gender relations, and demographic changes in East Asian societies, particularly Korea. They specialize in quantitative methods and have explored topics such as marriage dissolution, intergenerational resource transfers, and health disparities among the elderly.
