Ye Quanzhi is a Researcher at the University of Maryland's Department of Astronomy and a long-term visitor at Boston University's Center for Space Physics. He specializes in small Solar System bodies, including asteroids, comets, and meteoroids. His work involves ground- and space-based telescopes, numerical simulations, and data analysis from surveys like the Zwicky Transient Facility. He contributed to the NASA Planetary Data System Small Bodies Node and co-authored studies on the Taurid swarm and Comet C/2019 Y4 (ATLAS). Awards include the Harold C. Urey Prize in Planetary Science (2023). His research spans planetary formation, impact risks, and interstellar connections.
