Ye Qing is a Tenured Associate Professor in the Department of Management Science and Engineering at the School of Economics and Management, Tsinghua University. She has been serving in this position since 2013, after previously working as an Assistant Professor at the same institution from 2007 to 2013.
Dr. Ye received her PhD in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan in 2006. Prior to that, she earned a Master of Systems Engineering (2001) and a Bachelor of Automation (1998), both from Tsinghua University.
Dr. Ye's research focuses primarily on Supply Chain Management, with special emphasis on behavioral aspects of operations. Her work spans several key areas including Capacity and Inventory Management, Operation Management under Asymmetric Information, and Behavioral Operations Management. She has made significant contributions to understanding how psychological factors influence decision-making in supply chain contexts, particularly in gig economy settings and incentive contract design.
