Yasong Wang

Yasong Wang is a Professor in the Department of Hospitality and Employment Relations at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), part of the Eberly College of Business. He holds a Doctorate in Leisure Studies and Tourism Management from Pennsylvania State University. His research focuses on tourism representation, leisure constraints, socio-cultural impacts of tourism, and community tourism development. He has published in journals like the Journal of Travel Research and Annals of Tourism Research.

Wang has extensive industry experience with international travel and lodging corporations, along with leadership in tourism organizations. He actively contributes to professional bodies such as the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) and the National Restaurant Association. His teaching and service roles include coordinating Writing Across the Curriculum initiatives in Hospitality Management and leading departmental committees on accreditation, curriculum, and corporate relations.

He serves as Director of the Pittsburgh Club Managers Foundation and holds multiple administrative roles at IUP, including University Senate Representative and member of the College Research and Scholarship Committee.
