Yaqiong Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Systems & Analytics at the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University. She joined in 2020 and focuses on interdisciplinary research spanning information systems, computer science, and marketing. Her work emphasizes applying data analytics to understand user behavior and enhance business decisions, with a focus on recommender systems, machine learning, and retailer channel management. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota and degrees from Beihang University.
Dr. Wang’s research includes solving challenges in long-tail recommendations, predictive model reliability, and online-offline channel synergy. She frequently reviews for top IS conferences (e.g., ICIS, ECIS) and journals (e.g., Information Systems Research). Her teaching includes courses on Python programming, information technology, and analytics at Santa Clara University and the University of Minnesota.
