Yann Robert is an Associate Professor and Department Head in French and Francophone Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). His research focuses on the intersection of theater, justice, and politics in Enlightenment and Revolutionary France, supported by institutions like the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, Jacob K. Javits Foundation, and Mrs. Giles Whiting Foundation. He has held prestigious fellowships at Stanford University and the Newberry Library.
