Yan Zhi-Jun

Yan Zhi-Jun is a Research Fellow at the College of i, Feng Chia University. He holds a Doctorate from the Department of Sociology at Tunghai University. His work focuses on urban sociology and economic geography, particularly land finance mechanisms, urban politics, and global production networks. He investigates how land becomes financial assets in urban projects and explores the roles of developers and local factions in shaping land policies.

Research interests include land financing networks, fiscal resource integration, and spatial governance in industrial clusters. He contributes to studies on footwear industry restructuring across Taiwan, China, Vietnam, and Indonesia through collaborations with Professor Cheng-shu Kao’s research team.
