Research Focus: Her group specializes in organometallic chemistry and asymmetric catalysis, with an emphasis on developing earth-abundant metal (Fe, Co, Ni) and noble-metal (Rh, Ru, Ir) catalysts for highly enantioselective transformations. Central themes include design of chiral multidentate ligands (P,N-, P2N4-, P3N4-types), mechanistic elucidation of hydrogen-transfer processes, and green catalytic methods that operate under air or in water.
Publication Trends: Over the past decade her team has published extensively on enantioselective reduction and transfer hydrogenation of ketones, utilizing tailored macrocyclic and open-chain ligands. The work spans catalyst synthesis, structural characterization, mechanistic studies, and applications in asymmetric synthesis, reflecting a coherent program aimed at sustainable and selective catalytic methodologies.
