Dr. Yan Wang is a full-time Associate Professor at the Department of Finance and Business Economics, McMaster University. Her research focuses on price fragility, institutional investment, and empirical corporate finance, with publications in top-tier journals like Review of Financial Studies, Management Science, and Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. She has received prestigious awards including the Best Paper Award on ETFs at the NFA and the SAC Capital Award for Outstanding Research.
Dr. Wang's recent work explores topics such as skilled labor mobility in banking, ownership concentration effects on bond volatility, and capital structure dynamics. Her research has attracted significant media attention, including coverage in The Economist and the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance.
