Dr. Yan-Liang Yu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Sociology & Criminology at Howard University's College of Arts & Sciences. He earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from Michigan State University in 2016. His research focuses on marriage, intimate partnerships, health disparities, aging populations, and quantitative data analysis. Key projects include studying epigenetic aging in older adults, racial/ethnic health disparities, and the interplay between marital quality and health outcomes.
