Yael Harman

Yael Harman is a distinguished microbiologist and environmental scientist with significant policy expertise, currently serving as Head of the R&D Division and Vice-Chief Scientist at the Chief Scientist’s Office in Israel's Ministry of Energy. She concurrently holds a Visiting Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (MPIWG) in Berlin, affiliated with the research group "Experience in the Premodern Sciences of Soul & Body, ca. 800–1650," where she applies artificial intelligence to enhance cybersecurity and resilience of energy infrastructure systems.
