YANG Zhenlin

YANG Zhenlin is Professor of Economics & Statistics at the School of Economics, Singapore Management University (SMU). He is a Fellow of the Spatial Econometrics Association and serves as Associate Editor for Regional Science and Urban Economics and the Journal of Spatial Econometrics.

Research Interests:

His work focuses on Spatial Econometrics, Panel Data Models, Bootstrap Methods for Refined Inferences, Event-Time Analysis, Network Econometrics, and Urban & Regional Economics. He integrates advanced econometric techniques with real-world problems in housing, urban development, and policy evaluation.

Publications & Trends:

Over the last decade his research has concentrated on dynamic spatial panel models, unbalanced panels, threshold effects, and predictive ability testing. His articles appear in top econometrics journals such as Journal of Econometrics, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Regional Science, and Empirical Economics.
