Xuehang Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Storage of Electrochemical Energy (SEE) section at the Department of Radiation Science & Technology, Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). She focuses on mechanistic studies of high-rate electrochemical energy storage, synthesis of 2D nanomaterials like MXenes, and interfacial engineering for energy devices.

- Postdoctoral research at Drexel University under Prof. Yury Gogotsi
Her research spans nanomaterials synthesis, electrochemical mechanisms, and interface optimization. She also contributes to open science initiatives and peer-review activities.
Notable awards include the DOE EFRC Team Science Award, Cotswold Postdoc Fellowship, and Royal Society of Chemistry Horizon Prize.
She supervises PhD and Master's students, including Chaofan Chen, Albert de Kogel, Rui Guo, and Haozhe Liu. Her work involves organizing international symposia like the MRS Fall 2023 MXene Symposium and the Lorentz Center Workshop on 2D materials.
