Ahmad Majed

Ahmad Majed is a Teaching Professor at Tulane University's School of Science and Engineering, where he specializes in materials physics and engineering. His academic journey includes a B.Sc. and M.Sc. from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, and a Ph.D. from Tulane University focused on synthesizing 2D transition metal carbo-chalcogenides for electrochemical energy storage applications.

Dr. Majed's research centers on:

• Advanced materials synthesis and characterization
• Electrochemical testing for energy storage
• Development of novel 2D materials like TMCCs and MXenes
• Nanomaterials for battery electrodes and hydrogen evolution
