Xinran Dongfang

Xinran Dongfang is an Adjunct Professor in the Animation Program at California College of the Arts (CCA). She holds a B.A. & B.S. in Game Design from UC Santa Cruz and an M.F.A from CCA. Her work spans painting, animated video, immersive experiences, and emerging technologies. Currently, she also serves as a Technical Artist at Ubisoft since June 2022.

• Research Interests: Multimedia art, animation techniques, immersive technologies, and the intersection of art with emerging digital tools.

Her recognitions include the DESIGN INNOVATION AWARD (2020) and participation in The Game Development World Championship (2020). She actively contributes to CCA’s Animation Program while maintaining professional practice in the gaming industry.
