Barbara Pollak-Lewis serves as an adjunct lecturer across three institutions: California College of the Arts (CCA), Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), and Boston University. At CCA, she holds multiple instructional roles including Pre-College Instructor, YASP & Atelier Youth Programs Instructor, and Atelier Instructor, specializing in portfolio development and figure drawing for teens. Her career bridges academic instruction with professional art practice in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Pollak-Lewis's research and practice center on expressive art education methodologies, particularly through the human form in painting.
