Xinlai ZHAO is an experimenter and researcher affiliated with the School of Civil Engineering at Shandong University, based at the Civil Engineering and Water Conservancy College Testing Center. He specializes in experimental teaching and applied research, focusing on hydraulic model testing and slope stability analysis under wave forces. His work involves on-site inspections of water conservancy and highway projects, alongside academic publications and participation in national and regional projects.
Education & Roles: Engaged in experimental teaching for 'Hydraulic Architecture' courses. Responsible for practical testing in infrastructure projects across Shandong Province.
Research Interests: Hydraulic model simulations, slope stability mechanics, geotechnical durability, and erosion characteristics. His studies address challenges in reservoir spillways, dam slope stability, and geocell slope protection systems.
Projects & Achievements: Contributed to over 30 projects including hydraulic model tests for major reservoirs (e.g., Xiashan, Andi Reservoirs), pile foundation inspections for national expressways, and dam quality assessments. Recognized with provincial and municipal awards for technological advancements.
Labs/Teams: Works within the Testing Center of the School of Civil Engineering, collaborating on infrastructure safety and environmental hydraulic systems research.
