Xin Yu

Xin Yu is the F. Alex Nason Professor II of Biomedical Engineering at Case School of Engineering and holds professorships in the Department of Physiology & Biophysics and Radiology at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. With a ScD in Radiological Sciences from Harvard-MIT and prior fellowships at MIT and Johns Hopkins, Dr. Yu leads a research lab focused on MRI/MRSI methodology development for studying metabolic dysfunction in diseases like diabetes, stroke, and heart disease.

• Applies methods to genetically engineered mouse models and disease mechanisms
