Xiaojing Li is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Precision Environmental Health, focusing on environmental health and toxicology. She leads the 'Precision Environmental Health' project (2024–2027), funded by the Natural Environment Research Council. Her work addresses chemical mixtures, Daphnia biology, and molecular mechanisms in ecotoxicology.
Research interests include chemical toxicity, environmental sex determination, and high-throughput testing methodologies. Recent studies explore bioactivity profiling of pollutants, metabolomics in toxicity assessment, and modernizing chemical risk evaluation. She contributes to global sustainable development goals related to clean water and responsible consumption.
Key collaborations involve institutions globally, with emphasis on aquatic toxicology and environmental regulation. Her research bridges molecular mechanisms with ecological impacts, aiming to inform policy and chemical safety practices.
