Xiaodong Zou is a full Professor at the Department of Materials and Environmental Chemistry, Stockholm University. She has developed advanced electron crystallography methods for atomic structure determination of nanosized and beam-sensitive crystals, particularly zeolites, metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), and protein crystals. Her work has been pivotal in solving complex structures using 3D electron diffraction (3DED) and commercializing 10 software tools for high-resolution electron microscopy analysis.
