Xiaodong Lee

Xiaodong Lee is a Professor and Director of the Center for Internet Governance at Tsinghua University, as well as Professor and Director of the ICT Laboratory for Internet Infrastructure at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. He serves as Founder and CEO of the Fuxi Institution, focusing on Internet and Digital Economy research. His roles include Vice President of the Internet Society of China, Commissioner of the Global Commission on the Stability of Cyberspace (GCSC), and Commissioner of the Global Information Infrastructure Commission (GIIC).

His research focuses on Internet infrastructure development, governance frameworks, data governance, and the socio-economic impacts of digital civilization. He actively contributes to global digital policy initiatives through his organizational memberships and institutional leadership.

Xiaodong Lee leads key research initiatives at the Center for Internet Governance and the ICT Laboratory, driving interdisciplinary work on cybersecurity, digital economy models, and global cyberspace stability.
