Xiangbo Meng is an Associate Professor at the University of Arkansas' Department of Mechanical Engineering, College of Engineering. He holds dual PhDs in Mechanical & Materials Engineering and Chemical & Biochemical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario.
- Research focuses on atomic/molecular layer deposition (ALD/MLD) for energy storage systems
- Expertise spans lithium-ion, lithium-metal, lithium-sulfur, and sodium-ion batteries
- Specializes in nanomaterial synthesis and surface engineering at atomic-scale
His work has been published in top journals like Advanced Materials and Nano Energy, with over 100 peer-reviewed papers and 19 US patent applications. He has served as reviewer for 80+ journals and 10+ funding agencies.
